Hey everyone,
We've been on a powerful journey over the last few weeks, exploring what it means to truly trust God with all our hearts. We've talked about the freedom in letting go and the power of submitting to Him in our daily lives. This week, we're going to dive into the beautiful promise that comes as a result of that trust: guidance and clarity.
Our theme for the week is: He Will Make Your Paths Straight. We’ll be looking at the final phrase of our key verse which reminds us that our trust in GOD isn’t without reward. |

Bible Study: Week 4 "He will make your paths straight."
Scripture Focus: Proverbs 3:5-6 (NIV) - "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight."
Breaking Down the Verse:
1. "and he will make your paths straight." (Proverbs 3:6):
My Personal Testimony Tony Jackson, CEO & Founder
I was at a crossroads in my life, facing a decision about my career that felt overwhelming. I had all the facts and figures laid out, but no matter how much I leaned on my own understanding, I couldn't find peace with my decision. I went to discuss my decision with my mother. I let her know that I was feeling unsure about the decision I was being led to make. She looked right at me and said, “JUST TRUST GOD”. From that moment on I was determined to TRUST THE KING, no matter what. I stopped trying to figure it out and simply prayed: "God, I surrender this to you. Whatever you want for me, your will be done, and I trust you." A couple years later, a seemingly random conversation led to an opportunity I had not even considered. It wasn't the idea I had meticulously planned, but it was clear I had made the right choice. I was filled with a peace I couldn't explain. I realized that my own plans were limited, but God's perspective was infinite. That experience taught me that when you trust Him and let go of your own understanding, He will always provide a path that is better and clearer than anything you could have ever imagined.
Application for the Week:This week, let’s be mindful of the subtle ways God is directing our paths. When you make a decision, big or small, pause and consider if it's aligning with what you know of God’s character and purpose for your life. Pay attention to the unexpected opportunities, the "coincidences," and the quiet moments of clarity. These are all ways that God is making your path straight. We pray that you enjoyed this study guide on Proverbs 3:5-6. Come back to it and share it with someone you believe may be blessed by it. |
What's coming? Next week we'll leap into a new series entitled, “GOD FIRST” - we’ll look at what it means to prioritize God by putting Him first in all things. Matthew 6:33, (NIV) But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.
Blessings, The Trust The King Team |
